We develop a plan for your facility through interaction and communication with the architect and project owner/operator.
Architects and project owners appreciate our level of communication and attention to detail. Our system provides clear and organized information from the beginning of the project, all the way through to the final inspection.
Bill and Karen both use Computer Aided Design routinely in developing projects. Floor plan, plumbing, electrical, details of equipment and details of custom fabrication are included in our CAD drawings.
Hospitals, Restaurants, Schools, Correctional Facilities, Cafeterias, Culinary Schools, Retirement Centers and Food Courts are just a few examples of where we help!
BILL MURRAY, Senior Associate Member of FCSI
Bill's experience includes twenty-seven years as a partner in a food service equipment and supply dealership. His knowledge of drafting and computer Aided Design (AutoCAD) allowed him to serve as designer and project manager for most new projects and renovations in which the dealership was involved. He has attended equipment shows, product seminars, and visited food
service equipment factories throughout the United States since 1971. Bill now has more than 18 years as an independent consultant whose services have been contracted by architects and project owners for new hospitals and hospital renovations, correctional facilities, schools and colleges, culinary schools, restaurants, convenience stores, convention center, and other institutional food service facilities. Bill is an associate member of FCSI Professional Food Service Consultant Society.
KAREN CORBAN, RD, MA Consultant
Karen is a registered dietitian with a Master’s Degree from the University of Mississippi in Foods and Nutrition and has twenty-five years of facility management experience. She served at the North Mississippi Regional Center as Clinical Dietitian, as Director of Nutrition Services and Director of Child Nutrition at Lafayette School District and Oxford City School District. Karen spent 21 years in food service management, involved in the complete renovation of five school food service facilities, renovation of the North Mississippi Center's facility, and the construction of a new special diets kitchen. The Mississippi State Director of Mental Health appointed Karen to be the State Special Assistant to the Foodservice Design Consultant during the design and construction of the North Mississippi State Hospital. Years 2001 to 2011, Karen served as consultant to the National Food Service Management Institute and traveled the U.S. teaching Designing School Kitchens and Feeding the School Child with Special Needs. Karen also served as President of the School of Applied Sciences Alumni Advisory Board for the University of Mississippi in 2008. From 2005 to 2009, Karen served as an adjunct professor in the Family and Consumer Science Department of the University of Mississippi. She currently (2017) serves as a member of the Alumni Advisory Board for the Department of Nutrition and Hospitality Management and the Buildings, Grounds and Renovation Committee for the University of Mississippi. Additional past experience includes performing contractual work for the
Mississippi State Health Department determining the nutritional value of correctional facility
